Real Women Don’t Listen to This Crap

This is officially the most ridiculous crap I have read in a very long time. I hope that Feministing tears this to pieces. Here’s a tiny little flavor:

No, I’m not calling Obama a girlie president. But . . . he may be suffering a rhetorical-testosterone deficit when it comes to dealing with crises, with which he has been richly endowed.

. . .

The masculine-coded context of the Oval Office poses special challenges, further exacerbated by a crisis that demands decisive action. It would appear that Obama tests Campbell’s argument that “nothing prevents” men from appropriating women’s style without negative consequences.

Indeed, negative reaction to Obama’s speech suggests the opposite. Obama may prove to be our first male president who pays a political price for acting too much like a woman.

And, perhaps, next time will be a real woman’s turn.

The author’s conclusion is that women can’t lead. I am so angry right now that I feel the need to go into a sardonic series of free association thoughts:

The author, whose name I can’t even bear to mention, is a woman. Who has a TV show with Elliot Spitzer. Who clearly hates women. As she hates herself. Why do only self hating women get to host TV shows anyway? I hate TV.

When I become president, the first thing I am going to do is kick her ass.
